Do you ever feel like something is bothering you but you can pin point what it is? Well, that’s how I’m feeling today. I’m having one of those days and it’s raining so the weather matches my mood. But, there is something cleansing and refreshing about the rain. Although it slows things down, it causes you to acknowledge where you are in life and to get in touch with how you feel. Many of us overlook who we are, spending so much time trying to please someone else or be something else other than what God intends for us to be. We spend so much time rushing around and trying to get everything accomplished on a daily basis…trying to be perfect. But, the rain causes us to have no choice but to slow it down.
So why am I feeling down? I have to pinpoint it exactly. Rainy days are for reflecting. I will spend some time today doing some reflection on my life and making sure that I am in the place that God wants me to be in. It’s so easy to get distracted and off track headed in the wrong direction. It may not be a bad direction but it must be God’s direction.
I have to keep on smiling and try to figure it out. Gotta smile to keep from crying so I’ll stay upbeat, productive, and optimistic. Although, sometimes, it is okay to cry because just like the rain, crying cleanses the soul and causes growth and it’s perfectly normal and sometimes necessary…And best of all, after the rain there will be a rainbow and most definitely there will be sunshine. “Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning”!
To complement the weather and my rainy mood, I decided to dress comfortable but of course with major style. This is an easy go-to sweater and the color pops. Hope you all are having a good day!
