You asked the right person. I’m the one that gives all my friends advice about relationships. I think that you should fall in love with the way a person treats you. He seems to be the perfect guy so you shouldn’t let his looks deter weather you should take it to the next level. I’m gonna put it to you like this(hypothetical question) if you found out that he started dating another women because you wanted a break and you found out it was some beautiful gal would you want him to yourself then. I’m always that girl that falls in love with someone for their heart. I dated a guy same scenario and when I started dating him everyone wanted him. Does he have a nice swag to him? Does he dress nice? Is he clean cut? These are the things that seal the deal if he’s not that attractive to you and weigh the pros and cons. I personally think you’d be making a huge mistake if you let him go. Would you rather have a fine jerk that cheats on you and has no moral values, integrity or a kind considerate person that you can be yourself around. Think about it.:).

Wow…I do know where she is coming from. As a woman we need to always think for the future. If you’re not ready to be married then fun cute guys are the best, they make the best stories for your girlfriends. Now if you are ready to be married the man you should choose would be the one that can love you unconditionally, have your best interest at heart, want to see you better yourself, CAN and will support the family always because he knows his family is the most important thing in this world. He keeps his heart and body for you, takes you to little getaways and makes you feel like there is no other woman that compares to you. Once you get over Mr. cute guy get under Mr. Future husband. Don’t forget Mr. Perfect body will get old too he is not gonna look good forever.

Tanya, you really gave the girl good advice. It is so easy to be physically attracted to someone. I mean, really – that aspect is overrated. Personally, my top requirement is intelligence. I love a smart man. And courage, and compassion. And like you said; clean cut, swag (confidence), can seal the deal. And the older I get, the less sex is about huffing n puffing, than it is about intimacy and respect. So in the long run, I think you should keep him because no other guy, no matter how "cute" will measure up to him as a person (based on the highly respectful and complimentary way you talk about him).
