Dream,
Pursue,
Achieve!

Integrity is a very great trait to have. If your daily actions don’t consist of honesty, sincerity or good character you are on a trip to no where. Who wants to go nowhere? Don’t you want to feel fulfilled with purpose? If you have time to spare, do things constructive like help a friend, volunteer at a homeless shelter or a hospital.  There is so much more to life, there is someone higher we all have to answer to one day. What will you look back and say you did with your time?

On another note I just wanted to thank my readers for all the sweet emails and comments. You guys keep me going. God is using me in many ways. Sometimes things can try to deter our focus so that we won’t fulfill our journey. Remember to stay focus.

Tip of the day: Focus on finding your purpose…

Let’s ride…

When in a relationship no one is going to be 100% perfect. But, what I do know is that the person you are in the relationship with should be able to share your hopes and dreams with you no matter what. Accept only the best for yourself and if your significant other hasn’t been supporting you, it’s time to move on and stop letting that person stunt your growth.

Before I make any big decision in my life, I take a drive down the canyon near my home. On the way down the canyon there’s curves, bumps and it seem to take forever to get to the bottom, but when I get to the bottom my mind is instantly comprehensible seeing that at the lowest point of the canyon there is nothing but a beautiful ocean. I park, sit and stare at the ocean to reflect as well as pray. When it’s time to head back up the canyon my thoughts are indisputable. I also start to notice how beautiful the view is on the way home.

Don’t let anyone put their opinion of others on you. Sometimes it can be your downfall not to take their advice, but try to get to know the individual for yourself. Someone is probably always putting them in a box for what they’ve done in the past so there is no chance for change. When you really think about it which one of us is perfect? ” He who go without sin, cast the first stone”. Sometimes my husband describes me as a kid that shouldn’t talk to strangers and with that comes disappointment because let’s face it everyone doesn’t always have your best interest at heart. When someone ends up disappointing me, I pray to God not to let that person make me bitter or change who I am within.

Helping others doesn’t always mean it has to be with money, you can help someone with a kind gesture or smile, your time or a listening ear. I’m constantly saying to myself, “why aren’t things in life that should be normal so abnormal.” When did being nice become a surprise?

Tip of the day: Find the joy in your trials.

Diamond in the rough is looking sparkly…

diamond in the roughIt’s not good enough? ok…

When I decide to do anything, I give it my all. I would update my website everyday, but I don’t feel I have the time to put my maximum potential into it.

When you do decide to give something your all (your relationship, a friendship, or your career) and you aren’t feeling appreciated, don’t be afraid to kindly back up a little so others can know what they are missing!

Doing good deeds from your heart…

deed

When you do something from the heart there is no need to talk about it.  If you don’t sow the seed of giving  from your heart, the good deed goes unnoticed. God sees everything so rest assure he will do the rewarding. God wants you to do things from your heart so when you give, forget about it! No need to remind anyone of what you’ve done for them because your blessings will come back in multiples, I promise!!!

Spoiler alert…

Life is too short to be walking around angry. Sometimes when things aren’t going our way we tend to take things out on other people.

So when you’re upset tune it out and try not to spoil anyone else’s day. Have a great week guys.

Did they make the cut?

Did they make the cut?

As the new year is in full swing I tend to reflect and set goals for myself. The goal that’s essential and most important to me is staying true to myself. When you look in the mirror it’s important that who you’re   portraying to be is the real you, if not, there’s time for change.
When I look in the mirror I see strength, happiness and love. We have to look at ourselves and not be ashamed of our life experiences because mistakes makes us who we are. When you can accept your mistakes and learn from them, you’ll be wiser and more poised.
When  you conquer and overcome misfortunes in your life that’s when the power comes in. We all need to stay strong in life because battles can be thrown at us anytime, but we have to know that God is our force and nothing will stop us!  You will always win when you give the battle to God…
Tip of the day: The battle isn’t ours…

Did they make the cut?

My goals for this year is to be more patient and communicate better…

I love when I receive packages!  When I  open the door and get  something as beautiful and versatile as this piece, I’m smiling from ear to ear. This bag is timeless. The colors are so vibrant. It’s a clutch with a zipper so unlike others your I.D, money and those expensive lip glosses don’t end up some place random. I also love that it’s reversible so it’s a 2 for 1 deal! I literally got stopped about 5 times when I wore this bag.

Focus on what really matters…

Focus

At this time of year there is a lot of hype that causes us to lose focus of the things that really count.  Let’s try to concentrate on what’s important in life. What really matters  are your loved ones and those closest to you. Stop worrying about what others think of you because at the end of the day what others think doesn’t make or break you.  Don’t fall into that trap. You got this! When someone is mean to you, ignore them. Know who you are and whose you are, Gods child.

Everybody is going to have an opinion and they are entitled to it, but you know you better than anyone. They don’t have to walk in your shoes, right?  Keep shinning and doing you! If you weren’t unique and representing quality to the fullest, there wouldn’t always be someone in your way. So, simply walk right on around them and stay in tuned with what’s important, those you love and those who love you.

Tip: Don’t worry about what you are called , it’s what you answer to!

MEERRY CHRIST-(MAS)….1 day left:)

The holiday season has me reflecting, appreciating all the great things in my life God has given me. I’m grateful for the life I have in HIM, because we now have a relationship. I can go to Him for anything/anytime at anyplace in the world.

Things might not be as good as you would like, but have hope and always be thankful for the position God has placed you in. I’m so thankful and grateful for just waking up today. Let’s spread love and joy this season.

“The hard thing to understand is that faith is the area in our lives where growing up means we must grow to be more like a child, trusting simply in the goodness and complete knowledge of a Father who has our best interest at heart” -Colleen Townsend Evans

Don’t let tribulation, persecution or famine separate you from Christ. Let’s honor the birth of the Son of God. He is God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit—Creator of the universe (Philippians 2:5-11).

I wish everyone a Merry Christ-(mas) and a prosperous New Year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

3 more days until CHRISTMAS…

For the next two weeks I’ll be hanging out with my girl for their Christmas vacation. We will be going to Disneyland, Knot’s, the museum, the movies and what ever else we have time for. I try to spend as much time with them as I can so we can build memories together. They grow up so fast!

Friday evening will be my me time. My girl will be visiting here from New York and we will be going to one of my favorite resturants. I can’t wait to see her so we can catch up…

It’s been pouring rain down here in Cali for the past week (which is very strange) so I haven’t felt like getting dressed. Over the years I’ve learned to dress appropriate for the rainy weather. I would wear sandals, dresses, shorts and  sometimes I would destroy my heels in the rain, so I’ve learned my lesson.

Truly missed…

days until Christmas!

I just love Christmas! This is my favorite time of year!!! It’s makes me feel happy inside when I smell the fresh scent of pine, see my daughters perform in their yearly Christmas program, drive around town looking at Christmas lights with my family, eat  fried turkey and most importantly to celebrate the gift of giving! This year I’m grateful for so much, but there are a lot of things that I’m going to miss. I’m going to say Merry Christmas to  everyone (my girls think I’m crazy sometimes) and smile;).  I hope everyone in this world gets all  their hearts desires

Like I always say fashion should be easy, comfy and fun. Never care what others think of your fashion choices. When you get dressed think out side the box and sometimes the unexpected comes together even when you’re color blind that day.

I literally got dressed in 10 minutes. Most of the time I get about 20 minutes to get myself together because I’m always getting the girls ready. We spontaneously jumped up and went to the Grove. It’s an out door mall here in Cali and the decor for Christmas is always amazing.

HOW WE FEEL….

feelAccolades aren’t always deserved;)

I feel that there is always room for improvement so what’s the point of bragging.  There will always be someone who has done more and by the same token, those who have done less.  Be careful about posturing yourself in a way that makes others feel less significant because they haven’t achieved as much as you. If they haven’t, that doesn’t make them any less significant and certainly doesn’t make you more significant.  This trait is a form of insecurity or maybe some people just don’t know how to handle being blessed.  If you are accustomed to having “things” it should be nothing to you to live your life out gracefully.

Now, I’m not saying to overlook the fact that you have simply been blessed and favored with opportunity which I hope would make you humble and grateful. Not cocky and arrogant. There is a difference in sharing and being inspirational versus bragging.

Most important (!), don’t ever feel that you have to have accolades and accomplishments to feel important. You are important because you are a child of God. You don’t have to convince anyone of this by advertising your importance or trying to assure others of your greatness.  You shouldn’t have to validate yourself to anyone… you are God’s finest regardless.
