Joe’s Jeans have the perfect fit for my curves. They are also very comfortable. I wore these with a vintage tee from Denim and Supply and a light weight trench. Did I mention that everyone needs a lightweight trench. It’s great for all seasons.

Shop Here: Karen Millen Top | Paige denim Jeans | Happiness boutique earrings | Jimmy Choo Pumps.  This beautiful floral blouse by Karen Millen is just as much sexy as it is timeless. It gives me a seventies vibe which is why I’ve worn it again (you know I’m good for wearing things two days in a row) with bell bottoms. This was one of those pieces where the waitress gave me a compliment as well as the lady sitting across from us. This is always a sure sign that my piece is not only stand out, but it’s so unique that someone had to take the time to ask me where I purchased it from. For a beautiful date night out I paired it with skinny black denim jeans and suede black pumps. I felt polished and confident. 

On a side note when fall comes around there’s more parties which means it’s time to start enjoying the company of my friends and family more. Still haven’t mastered how to balance everyone into my five jobs that I have, but some things are worth letting go in order to make room for the things that make your soul happy. I spent the day with family for a party for all the September and October Birthdays this past Sunday. We had so much fun. I have such a strong and beautiful family. At the end of the night we ended up having such a deep conversation and I somehow was in the hot seat. My aunt and I came up with something that I think will become special. I will be doing a new segment of videos called girl talk. I will interview my family and friends one on one, talk about our history, highlight their business (lots of powerful black women in my life) and just have girl talk. I plan on talking about the highs the lows, what to let go of and what to fight for and how they have became deal with everyday issues. I don’t know how I would survive without these beautiful women.  They definitely  have earned a permanent place in my heart. I thank God for them.
