Hey my loyal readers, thanks for always coming here on a daily to check in on me. I know I’ve been a bit slow on the updates but know I’m always thinking of you guys.
This thought just came to me today so I said let me share it with you.
About two weeks ago someone was asking me about someone who I’m not too fond of. They proceeded to tell me a story about this person. I only have a hand full of people who I feel this way about, yet I don’t hate them. I always send them light and love {in my head} when their names are brought up, just to ensure I’m not holding in any hidden animosity. Anyways, so as they were telling me the story I said out loud, karma. I didn’t feel anything at the time so that was the end of it. I didn’t say a bad word or elaborate on the situation any further.
Then today as I was driving I thought to myself, I don’t want any karma to fall on anyone. I’ve done my share of things in my life, like we all have. None of us are perfect, we are all a work in progress and some of us take longer to grow than others and we should pray for everyone around us, even those we aren’t to fond of. I remember being so down and I mean like feeling like there was no hope and someone poured salt on my wound when all I needed was prayer. We all need prayer at some point in our lives, so we must not take joy in the misfortune of others, even if they’ve wronged us. Cleary I’m still growing, and thank God its for the better.
Hope you guys are having a great day. It’s been rainy off and on for the past three weeks here in Cali so I have been taking it easy and running Laila around like crazy to all of her activities. When I laid eyes on this duster it was love at first sight. I have been looking for one that looks luxurious to wear with my jeans or over my bathing suits for my vacation. Dusters are an easy way to dress up a lazy outfit. It has become my uniform as well as mule heels. I’m getting older so I just need to grab and go.
