So today is my Birthday and I wanted to chat with you a bit and let you know what’s on my mind. I am so thankful to see another year. My dad was the first one to tell me Happy Birthday at 12:01am and it was just really special to me. My mom calling was special as well. She really knows me so when she tells me she is proud of me it makes me smile. My friends also sent special text making me feel super happy and I started to cry.

Something about getting older makes you know what to appreciate when you look around. I love it how my (parents especially) family and friends let me know how beautiful I am in the inside. They makes me feel cherished. If any of you have read my blog for a while you’ll know that I talk about inner beauty a lot. For some reason it is very important to me. Maybe because I can see beauty in anyone. When I met a person I look them straight in their eyes. Something about this makes me feel the inside of that person. I most of the time couldn’t even tell you what you were wearing let alone find a flaw in their outward appearance. I see so many people I encounter being so critical of other people without even getting to know them. I think I’m also really kind to people because you never know when you’ll be in the presence of an earth angel. I really believe in them. I have been so blessed in my life by so many people. I’m telling you,  people don’t even know why and they’ll just bless me. They have been from the smallest blessings to the biggest, but somehow those people were my angels, otherwise how can someone give you what you need without you even telling them.

If I had one piece of advice to give you I’d say to be kind. Let me tell you why… in order to be kind you must first be kind to yourself. You have to love yourself so deeply that no matter whats going on in your life you decide to be a light to others and push that smile out. Eventually blessings will come out of no where. You will know you are special.
