Strawberry Vinaigrette

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon red onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoon salt
½ pepper
1 cup olive oil
4 strawberries

In a blender place red wine vinegar, red onion, garlic, dijon mustard, honey, vanilla extract, salt and pepper cover and process until pureed. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream; process until thickened. Add strawberries. Yield: 2 cups

Must Have of the week

This is my favorite lip balm. When you put it on it just brings out your natural lip color. Sometimes I don’t feel like wearing lip gloss but need to hydrate my lips. This has done the trick. It has also prepped my lips so that they won’t peel when I do put on lip gloss. A good scrub helps as well. Have a good day. xoxo

This is my new favorite blouse. I love whimsical blouses that are soft and girly. This one from Shein is only $18. I splurge on my jeans and switch up my blouses to create different looks.

I was willing to splurge on a pair because the ones I found on sale just didn’t have the right cut. I found these a couple of years ago and I must say I’ve gotten my moneys worth. I wear them at least ten times a year. They work well on all body types and give a nice texture to otherwise a simple pair of black jeans.

Make sure to keep a look out and grab a pair as the sales are about to get good. Still on vacation, but I will be posting pictures that I prepared for you guys before I left.

Fur Jacket in the cold

I know a lot of you live on the east coast and it can get even colder so putting on a dress for a holiday dinner party can be a challenge. Last night I chose to keep it cute yet simple in my fur coat, a lace bodysuit {so when I took it off I had some details} and these warm boots.

I also wore my divaswigs because I have not been getting my hair done. I wanted to see how long I can go natural. They are offering a Christmas discount of $60 from now until the 25th of December. Just thought I’d share.

I need some sun. Hopefully I can find some before Christmas. See you soon…

Blush Tone Sweater + Mom Jeans

I’m a huge fan of cable knit sweaters and blush tones so the excitement was real when I got this sweater. The affordable price didn’t hurt either. To really keep the focus on the sweater I paired it with plain jeans and a natural colored pump.
