I’ve had these camouflage pants for over three years and they are my absolute favorite! I’ve worn them here and here in previous posts. If you don’t have a pair I definitely recommend you get a pair asap. I’ve worn them so many ways that it’s a go-to item in my closet. More to come.

~~ Lobster Stuffed Baked Potato ~~
I’m always trying to come up with new things to make for my family. I was feeling creative and completely made this up. I call it Lobster Stuffed Baked Potato. It was so amazing. How can any dish not be with lobster in it.
What you’ll need is: Lobster tails, baked potatoes, butter, cheese, bacon and green onions. Add everything in for your personal liking, so put as much butter and lobster as you want. Stuff it!

Homemade Fresh Margaritas
I’ve been into margaritas lately and I’ve been on a mission to find the perfect mix. I went to dinner and sat at the bar and the bartender showed me how to make a simple and fresh homemade margarita. Here’s what you’ll need…
- Patrón (pick a good one to prevent a headache)
- Fresh limes
- Grand Mariner
- Hand held lime squeezer
- Agave Nectar
- Shaker with ice.
- Margarita Salt. First cut a lime and wipe it around the rim of your glass and add the margarita salt. Then add two shots of Patrón on lots of ice in your shaker, about 5 limes, 1 to 2 tablespoons of agave nectar and shake shake shake. Then add a shot of Grand Mariner, stir and it’ll be perfect!
All Done!
Lightweight Trench Coat
This lightweight trench coat has been a staple in my closet this fall/winter. I think it’s a great piece that I can wear all year. In the Fall/winter I can layer it over a sweater and add a scarf, and in spring/summer I can throw it over my bag because it’s light weight and put it on in the evening. It’s a MUSTHAVE!

He knows just what I need
Sometimes I lose vision for myself because at times I take things for granted. I am truly blessed with so much and when I look around and see some of the people I know and what they are going through, it makes me appreciate everything I have. The people in my life, my business and most importantly the ability to smile no matter what. I haven’t had a clear mind for some reason, but I know what’s important to me. I just need time to clear my mind so my heart can be grateful.

Hope you all had an amazing New Years. My husband took us away for two days and it was a great mini vacation. For the new year I’d like to get closer to God. He really is there when you feel like you have no one else so I need to spend more time with Him.

LA Winters
Chasing Wild Horses…
I’ve always had a thing for horses. They are big, gentle yet very strong and can withstand long journeys. My daughter had her first horse given to her by her uncle, his name was Socks. A couple of years ago, my husband and I went to Hawaii took a drive around the island and saw a huge white horse in the middle of this beautiful field all by itself with the sun shinning directly on it. It was unbelievable! I stared at it for about 15 minutes. It was the most beautiful horse I’d ever seen and to experience something like that with him was special. It made me think about all the beautiful things God created on earth for us to experience including me and you. I was happy that he was equally thrilled as me (you know how guys are) to see such a rare beauty. I took like 50 pictures if it, lost my camera and never seen it again. If I wasn’t with him I’d think it didn’t happen. We talk about it to this day because we don’t have proof, why because we lost our camera. It was something that I would have loved to share with my family, maybe even you guys.
Whenever I think I want to take a pic of a special moment because I want to share it, he says some things are just meant to happen between you and one other person. Makes it special and makes you present. His exact words, “get rid of ya phone, this ain’t for everybody.” I cherish that he is not caught up in the hype, on social media, and is very low-key. Even though we fight sometimes and we get on each others nerves, I know God made him just for me.
